We enjoyed some great bluegrass gospel at Shadow Valley in beautiful Fayetteville, TN, on July 4. My favorite bluegrass band in the world, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, performed (among others), and they were characteristically outstanding.
I realize that some of the "less-cultured" among us find bluegrass rather distasteful, but it's their loss. As for me, I love it! Started playing bluegrass when I was 16 and it's in my blood to stay. It's so glad to see the Foray back! It's been a long time coming! Good thing that Doyle was in town. He just did his big festival here a few months ago...incredible! Hope you had a blast. :)

Thanks Walt and Judi! It's good to be back. Yes, leave it up to bluegrass to inspire and invigorate! I didn't mention that I even got a picture with Doyle and a chance to tell him personally how much his music has meant to me over the years. What a treat!
