And remember our Savior's words:

" ... the hour is coming when those who kill you will think they are offering a service to God. They do such things because they have not known the Father or me. I have told you this, so that when their hour comes you will remember that I warned you about them" (John 16:2-4a).

Really Cool T-Shirt!

Check this one out (here) and let your voice be heard!

It's amazing how effective t-shirts can be in prompting questions from passers-by. I have a black Compassion International t-shirt that simply says on the front in white letters, "Join me." I can't tell you how many times people I don't know have stopped me on the street and asked, "Join you for what?" (The back of the shirt says, "... in the fight against poverty.")

Remember the Persecuted!

Please, everyone, make it a point to pray for our persecuted Christian family around the world.

I just received a prayer update from The Voice of the Martyrs (www.persecution.com). The update requested prayer for the mother of 2 Christians in Mosul, Iraq, who were Christians. Both were killed Nov 12 by "a gang of Islamic extremists," and their mother was seriously injured.

The update requested prayer for the grieving and physically injured mother, as well as for peace in Mosul. We should also pray for the spiritual eyes of the killers to be opened to Christ.

It is a privilege to stand with the persecuted church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
